Steve Jobs words live on….

Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being.

Steve Jobs died last night and these words ring true. On-top of being a creative genius, Steve Jobs was also a gifted and creative speaker.

Below of some of his most brilliant quotes or ‘stevenotes’ ( & If you ever get a chance, make sure you read his speech to the Stanford graduates of 2005:

Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.

I want to put a ding in the universe.

Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.

Click. Boom. Amazing!

You can’t just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they’ll want something new.

Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.

People think focus means saying yes to the thing you’ve got to focus on. But that’s not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully.

Focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains

Almost everything–all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure–these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.

Stay hungry. Stay foolish!

Hey,Brilliant article and it reminds me that change is the one constant in life and if you can’t innovate to adapt to that change then you already old news or outdated. In today’s world knowledge is power and the ones who can put it to best use are the ones that are going to lead tommorow’s world like steve Jobs did.
