Woman as Man’s Greatest Muse

A few weeks ago, I went to see ‘The Social Network‘ (The movie about the founder of Facebook- Mark Zuckerberg who also happens to be the World’s youngest Billionaire). At the end of the movie, I looked over to the beautiful girl watching the movie with me and said, ‘isnt’ it weird how a Woman is at the heart of Face-book and it being what it is today?’ She said something to this effect ‘Behind every Great Man, there is a Great Woman.’ (For those of you that have not seen the Movie, go watch it and see how Erica Albright [Mark’s ex-girlfiend ] has a more than pivotal role in the creation of Face-book.)

This got me thinking – In our world today how many things have Women been responsible for – Directly or Indirectly?

How many Men have been spurned to Greatness or Despair because of their (our) biggest weakness – The Femme Fatale? This could be as a result of a broken heart or an adoring love, whatever the reason, the female species has a way to inspire Man to their Greatest Heights or the Lowest Lows and I guess they will continue to do so for as long as their are Men on this Earth…..

Causality - I believe for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Cause and Effect. I am the cause - what will be the effect?

  1. One night President Obama and his wife Michelle decided to do something out of routine and go for a casual dinner at a restaurant that wasn’t too luxurious. When they were seated, the owner of the restaurant asked the president’s secret service if he could please speak to the First Lady in private. They obliged and Michelle had a conversation with the owner.
Following this conversation President Obama asked Michelle, why was he so interested in talking to you. She mentioned that in her teenage years, he had been madly in love with her. President Obama then said, “so if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant”, to which Michelle responded, “no, if I had married him, he would now be the President”.
